Dear Participants,

Please, find enclosed herewith the following information:

  • Instruction for Authors on preparing abstracts of paper/poster presentation
  • Information on payment
  • Hotel booking form

Organizing Committee intend to publish Conference Proceedings. Authors will be asked to send 2-4 pages of text.

INSTRUCTION FOR ABSTRACTS

The length of abstracts of both oral and poster presentations should be 2-4 pages of B5 format (18.2 x 25.7 cm).
All text in Times New Roman, font size 10, 1.5 line spacing, left and right margins 2.0 cm, align (justify) to both margins.
Title: font size 10, bold, all words CAPITALIZED, align to the left-hand margin with no dot (.) at the and. Skip one line between title and author(s) name(s).
Authors: underline name of presenting author. In multi-author papers use "and" before the last author. Use superscript numbers (1, 2 etc.) behind author's name to refer to different addresses. Skip one line between author(s) and addresses.
Address: if more than one address: use superscript numbers to refer to those as used behind author's name. Add between brackets [ ] the e-mail address of the corresponding/presenting author. Skip two lines between address and contents of abstract.
All genus and species names should be written in italics.

The registration fee is 50€ (200 PLN for participants from Poland) and must be paid by 28th February 2006 to:

Detailed information concerning transportation to Bydgoszcz (plane, train, bus) will be sent to participants in March.

OFFICIAL CURRENCY

The official currency in Poland is the Polish zloty (PLN). 1 EURO is ~3.80 PLN (exchange rate on 25.01.2006).

ATTENTION:

Independently on Proceedings there is also possibility to publish of these papers in Phytopathologia Polonica. Deadline for sending manuscripts, is 31.07.2006 and will be strictly required beacause of editorial cycle. Papers will be sent to 2 reviewers and published this year in 4th volume of Phytopathologia Polonica (2006) according to general information for authors (see attachment "Instruction for authors"). Conference papers will have priority if they will be in accordance with scientific requirements of Editorial Committee of Phytopathologia Polonica. Authors partially participate in the cost of publication which is 100 PLN (about 25€) per page. There is also possibility to publish "Short communications"(up to 4 pages) and in this case cost per page will be lower.
